Our ‘Mini Site’ fixed price package fits the needs of many small businesses and professional individuals, for example tradesmen, small high street shops and businesses. The Mini Site can be used as a permanent solution or a a holding page whilst you prepare for a full site, thereby securing your domain name and online identity with something a great deal better than a parking page.
More and more customers every day use Google to find contact information and location details for businesses instead of turning to traditional paper directories like they used to. For a fraction of the price of advertising in one these archaic publications, you can have your own website, a professional email address and more.
What we need from you
We'll need a few things from you to make your site a reality:
- The business name as you want it to appear
- Your full postal address including postal code
- All contact phone numbers as you want them to appear
- Business owner name for domain registration
- Limited Company number if applicable
- A high quality, digital copy of your logo, not a hard copy
- The domain name you want, making sure it's available first
- Information about your business in prose, a few paragraphs, lists of services offered etc - In an email, word document or anything else that can be emailed easily.
- A list of the email addresses you require at your new domain name
- Any basic design direction such as preferred colours for your page
- Additional photos, only a few please, that you want to appear on the page
How to Order
We haven't setup an automated ordering process because the creation of your mini site is still a personal service. We need to communicate with you and get to grips with what your business is about.
Review the checklist above making sure you have got everything together that we need and get in touch with us by phone or via the site. We'll need all of the required information and payment in advance to put your site together. We accept bank transfers and cheques made payable to 'Net Glue Limited'. Frequently Asked Questions
- Will the domain name be registered to my company?
Yes - One of the reasons we ask for your full company and business owner information is so that we can effectively register the domain name on your behalf. You or your company will be the legal registrant of the domain name.
- Can I use an existing domain name?
Yes - 'Transfers' are not required, as long as your current registrar alows you to alter the nameservers or DNS records (This is usually free and although slightly technical, we can provide help and instructions to set everything up). Please note though, that due to competetive price of the package, we don't offer a discount in these situations.
- What if I want to use my domain name elsewhere?
No Problem - providing your domain name is kept renewed and all recurring fees are up to date, we will happily allow a transfer out to proceed or continue to be the registrar agent for the domain name and bill you for renewals at our standard rates.
- How about updates and changes
If your address or phone number changes, or perhaps you want to add additional links to the page or reword some of the copy. It's no problem, but time spent performing updates are chargeable at our current hourly rate. Typically, small changes to copy take just a few minutes, however, we bill in minimum 15 minute periods so it's best to get changes made all in one go if possible.
